Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Manitoba Moose recalled goaltender Julien Ellis from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL, the American Hockey League team announced on Tuesday. Ellis, 22, has appeared in five games this season with the Salmon Kings after recovering from a high ankle sprain suffered in Vancouver Canucks training camp. In that time, he is 4-1-0 with a 1.40 goals-against-average and a .948 save percentage.

Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks recalled forward Jason Jaffray from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, it was announced on Monday. To make room for Jaffray, Vancouver re-assigned forward Alexandre Bolduc to the Moose. The 27-year-old Jaffray leads the Moose with 12 goals and is second with 17 points in 17 games this season.
